A scroll banner beneath the portrait bears the inscription SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL flanked by the birth and death years 1874 and 1965. The celebrated quotation I HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER BUT BLOOD, TOIL, TEARS AND SWEAT. arcs around the upper periphery, and the denomination ONE CROWN appears along the lower border. |
