Struck a decade after the 1981 wedding issue that made commemorative Diana coinage a global phenomenon, this 1991 piece was produced during a period when the Manx government had established itself as one of the most prolific issuers of royal commemorative silver in the British Isles — a reputation built largely on collector demand rather than domestic circulation.
