| Beschrijving keerzijde | Near-frontal portrait bust of Diana, Princess of Wales, her hair styled upswept with loose strands framing the face, wearing a floral cluster earring. The effigy occupies the majority of the field against a mirror-proof background. The circumferential legend, divided to either side of the portrait, reads 10TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, with the denomination 1 CROWN inscribed along the lower arc, all separated by raised dots and set within a plain raised rim. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Struck a decade after the 1981 wedding issue that made commemorative Diana coinage a global phenomenon, this 1991 piece was produced during a period when the Manx government had established itself as one of the most prolific issuers of royal commemorative silver in the British Isles — a reputation built largely on collector demand rather than domestic circulation. By this point, the Isle of Man's arrangement with the Crown gave it unusual latitude to issue commemoratives independently of the Royal Mint's schedule.
The marriage was publicly unraveling by 1991, though the separation would not be formally announced until the following year.
