Reverse description The central field features a carefully arranged montage of nine historical Manx coins displayed in overlapping fashion, spanning three centuries of island coinage from the 1668 John Murrey penny through Georgian and Victorian issues to the modern decimal series, illustrating the evolution of Manx numismatic history. Flanking star ornaments are interspersed among the coin effigies in the field. The circumferential legend TERCENTENARY OF MANX COINAGE arcs around the upper portion, while ONE CROWN appears along the lower periphery, all framed by a rope or chain border near the rim.
