| Opis rewersu | Central design depicts two RAF pilots in full flying kit running at full sprint across an airfield tarmac in a scramble maneuver, with the propeller of a waiting fighter aircraft visible at the right edge, rendered with colourised detail against the polished field. The scene is framed by a wreath of laurel branches and flanked by two RAF roundel motifs. An inner ribbon at the top of the wreath bears the inscription BATTLE OF BRITAIN. The legend ENEMY APPROACHING - SCRAMBLE arcs boldly around the upper periphery, while ONE CROWN appears along the lower border.
