| 背面描述 | The numeral '1' and the word 'CÓRDOBA' are displayed prominently in the centre of the field within a circular arrangement, constituting the denomination. The legend EN DIOS CONFIAMOS arcs along the upper portion of the reverse, while the date 2022 appears in the lower portion flanked by small five-pointed stars. A beaded border matching that of the obverse encircles the entire reverse design. |

Nicaragua's córdoba has been redenominated twice in the twentieth century — once in 1912 when it replaced the peso, and again in 1990 when the gold córdoba replaced the hyperinflationary nuevo córdoba at a rate of five million to one, a direct consequence of the Sandinista government's deficit financing during the Contra war years. The stainless steel issues from Banco Central reflect the post-stabilization monetary order that followed.
