Reverse description The reverse features the denomination 1 / CENTECI- / MO inscribed in three lines at the center of the field, the word CENTECIMO being a die-engraver's misspelling of CENTÉSIMO. The numeral and legend are enclosed within a wreath composed of laurel and oak branches, tied at the base with a floral rosette. A beaded border runs along the outer rim of the coin.

Additional information

The misspelling on this issue — CENTECIMO in place of CENTÉSIMO — is not a late-discovered error but a well-documented die fault present from the outset of this coinage. Bolivia's copper minor coinage of the 1860s was produced under inconsistent oversight, and this piece is the most cited example of that lapse. KM#147 is catalogued specifically for the misspelled legend, distinguishing it from corrected dies used later in the series.
