Reverse description A centrally positioned spray of ackee (Blighia sapida), Jamaica's national fruit, dominates the field, depicted with open pods, arils, seeds, and foliage rendered in fine relief. The numeral '1' is struck prominently in the lower central field, with the denomination ONE CENT inscribed along the lower periphery, flanked by raised dots. The FAO slogan LET US PRODUCE MORE FOOD curves around the upper and lateral periphery, referencing the Food and Agriculture Organisation programme under which the coin was issued.
