Aanvullende informatie

Tokelau's coinage history is almost entirely a collector construct — the territory has no independent monetary system, uses the New Zealand dollar for actual commerce, and its coin issues exist solely for numismatic sale. This 2012 cent belongs to a matched set release, a format common to Pacific territories whose "circulating" denominations never circulate at all.

KM#100 is a late entry in a series that began appearing under Tokelau's name in the 1970s, issued under authority delegated through New Zealand.
