| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central square perforation surrounded by four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in the traditional reading order: top (咸), right (通), bottom (豐), left (寶), together forming the reign title inscription 咸豐通寶 (Xianfeng Tongbao). The characters are rendered in bold, well-defined strokes within a plain inner square rim and an outer raised rim. The flat field shows typical cast surface texture consistent with Qing dynasty cash coin production. |

The Manchu glyphs are cast in raised relief against a flat, granular field, bounded by a plain inner square rim and an outer raised rim. The reverse is otherwise unadorned. |
