| Obverse description | Sogdian inscription arranged in a circular legend surrounding the central square hole, reading in the Sogdian script. The legend occupies the full width of the field between the hole and the outer rim. The coin exhibits a heavily patinated, irregular flan typical of Central Asian cast or hammered issues of the early medieval period. |

| Reverse description | A branch-like or foliate tamgha device, characteristic of the Sogdian dynastic or civic coinage of Chach or Ferghana, curves around the left and upper sides of the central square hole. The tamgha is rendered in low relief against a plain, unadorned field. No legend or additional inscription is present on the reverse. The surface shows heavy encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
