Reverse description The reverse presents a plain, unadorned field surrounding the characteristic central square perforation, with no inscriptions, symbols, or design elements. The surface retains a natural dark bronze patina with minor surface irregularities consistent with age and circulation. The square hole is slightly irregular in form, typical of hand-produced Sogdian cash coinage of the early medieval period. The flat, featureless reverse is a defining characteristic of this series, placing all identifying information on the obverse.
