| Opis awersu | Round cast brass cash coin featuring a central square perforation bordered by a raised square rim. The four-character reign legend 康熙通寶 (Kangxi Tongbao) is arranged in the traditional cruciform reading order — top, bottom, right, left — in regular script (kaishu), with 康 above and 寶 below the central aperture, and 通 to the right and 熙 to the left. The characters are rendered in bold relief against a flat field, separated by the square hole. The coin is bound by a plain outer rim, consistent with standard Qing dynasty cast coinage. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse displays two mint-identifying characters flanking the central square perforation: the Manchu script ᡤᡠᡳ (Gui) to the left and the Chinese character 桂 (Gui) to the right, both in raised relief against a flat field. This bilingual mintmark identifies the Guilin Mint in Guangxi province, following the standard Qing practice of inscribing both Manchu and Chinese characters on the reverse of cash coins. The field shows evidence of age-related patination with green cuprite deposits, consistent with a cast brass coin of this period. The outer rim is plain and slightly raised. |
