The character 康 (Kang) appears at the top, 熙 (Xi) at the bottom, 通 (Tong) at the right, and 寶 (Bao) at the left. The broad, slightly raised rim encircles the design, and the casting quality reflects the established Qing imperial foundry tradition. |

| Popis rubu | The reverse displays two cast characters in relief flanking the central square hole, arranged in a right-left reading order. To the right of the hole appears the Chinese character 福 (Fu), rendered in traditional regular script, identifying the Fuzhou Mint in Fujian province. To the left of the hole is the corresponding Manchu script character ᡶᡠ (fu), serving as the Manchu-language equivalent of the mint identifier in accordance with standard Qing dynasty bilingual coinage practice. The field is flat and darkened with age, and the broad rim is well defined. |
