| Reverse description | Broad raised rim surrounds a flat field centered on a raised square perforation with a prominent border. Two Manchu script legends are positioned horizontally flanking the central square hole, one on each side: the mint name Boo-chiowan (Board of Revenue Mint, Beijing) rendered in two Manchu syllabic groups reading vertically, with ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) to the left and ᠶᡠᠸᠠᠨ (Yuan) to the right. The Manchu characters are boldly struck in relief against the otherwise plain field. |
