The left character reads ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) and the right character reads ᡬᡳ (gi), together forming the Manchu rendering of the mint name Boo-gi (Board of Revenue mint, Beijing). The field is otherwise plain, and the characters are cast in a style consistent with late Qing dynasty Board of Revenue issues. Surfaces show typical casting texture. |
