| Reverse description | Central square hole flanked on either side by a single Manchu script character, read vertically and separated by the hole. The left character reads ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) and the right character reads ᡬᡳ (gi), together forming the Manchu rendering of the mint name Boo-gi (Board of Revenue mint, Beijing). The field is otherwise plain, and the characters are cast in a style consistent with late Qing dynasty Board of Revenue issues. Surfaces show typical casting texture. |
