| 背面描述 | Plain, uninscribed reverse with a central square hole surrounded by a raised square inner rim. The broad flat field is featureless, showing the typical smooth cast surface of Vietnamese Lê dynasty cash coinage. The outer raised rim is well-formed and consistent in width around the circumference. |

Issued under Emperor Lê Thái Tông during an extremely brief window of his reign, this cash belongs to the Đại Bảo era — a period name abandoned after just two years. Lê Thái Tông died in 1442 under circumstances that remain disputed; he was found dead at the residence of one of his concubines, Nguyễn Thị Lộ, triggering one of the most notorious court scandals of the early Lê dynasty. The resulting political purge executed Nguyễn Trãi — Vietnam's most celebrated literary figure — along with three generations of his family.
Toda 53 is among the scarcer attributions in the early Lê sequence.
