| Obverse description | Four Chinese characters arranged in cruciform fashion around a central square hole, read in the traditional order: top, bottom, right, left. The legend reads 景興宋寶 (Cảnh Hưng Tống Bảo), rendered in regular script (kaishu) within an unadorned field. The characters are well-formed and boldly cast, with a plain raised rim encircling the design. No additional decorative elements appear in the field. |
