| Obverse description | Cast copper cash coin with a central square perforation surrounded by raised rim borders on both the inner square and outer circumference. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around the central hole, reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left: 景興巨寶 (Cảnh Hưng Cự Bảo), meaning 'Giant Currency of the Cảnh Hưng era.' The characters are rendered in bold, slightly irregular relief consistent with Vietnamese sand-casting technique. The field between the characters and the outer rim is flat and unadorned, displaying typical patination of aged copper alloy. |

| Reverse description | Plain reverse featuring a central square perforation enclosed by a raised inner square rim and a raised outer circular rim. The field between the two rims is smooth and blank, entirely without inscription or ornament, as is typical for Vietnamese cast cash of the Lê dynasty. The surface shows mottled olive-brown patination with areas of darker oxidation, consistent with prolonged burial or circulation. |
