| Obverse description | Round bronze cash coin with a central square hole. The obverse field bears a four-part Old Uyghur inscription arranged around the square perforation, reading in full: 'Prestigious and divine Boquq, Uyghur Khagan.' The legends are cast in low relief against a flat, undecorated field, with no additional ornamental devices. The script flows in the characteristic vertical or running style of Old Uyghur, with one or two lines of text on each side of the central void. The overall style follows the Tang-influenced square-hole cash format adapted for Uyghur Khaganate coinage. |
