| 裏面の説明 | Two allegorical figures seat together in the central field: the Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, holds the Christ Child at left, while a second robed figure bearing a long sceptre or lance leans against an elaborate quartered heraldic shield of Bavaria at right. The Bavarian arms — displaying the lozengy field, the Palatinate lion, and additional quarterings — are prominently rendered in fine relief. The mint date 1732 appears in the lower exergue below a ground line, and the surrounding Latin motto legend reads CLYPEVS OMNIBVS IN TE SPERANTIBVS, meaning 'You are a shield to all who trust in You,' separated at top and sides by the figures. A toothed milled border frames the entire design. |
