| 备注 |
Thailand's 9th series began issuing in 1955 under the same De La Rue contract that had supplied Thai currency since the postwar reconstruction period. The 1 Baht was the lowest denomination in the series and saw correspondingly brutal circulation — worn examples are the rule, not the exception. De La Rue's distinctive intaglio printing held up better than the substrate, meaning the paper typically failed before the ink did.
The two-tier watermark arrangement — a constitution vessel on one register, the royal profile on another — was a deliberate anti-counterfeiting escalation following documented forgery problems with earlier low-denomination notes in the 1940s.
