Obverse description A portrait of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in Supreme Commander uniform occupies the left portion of the face, set within an elaborate guilloche border. To the right, a finely rendered intaglio vignette presents Wat Pho as seen from the Chao Phraya River. Thai inscriptions appear in letterpress above and below the central composition, identifying the issuer and denomination.
