Obverse description A portrait of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in Supreme Commander uniform occupies the left portion of the face, set within an elaborate guilloche border. To the right, a finely rendered intaglio vignette presents Wat Pho as seen from the Chao Phraya River. Thai inscriptions appear in letterpress above and below the central composition, identifying the issuer and denomination.

Reverse description The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is rendered in precise intaglio at centre, its Italian Renaissance dome and symmetrical wings rising above a lightly tinted guilloche underprint. Denomination numeral '1' appears in ornate cartouches at the upper left and upper right corners, flanked by foliate guilloche borders. The printer's imprint and a Thai penal warning inscription are set in small letterpress type along the lower margin.
Reverse lettering โทษฐานปลอมหรือแปลงธนบัตร คือจำคุกตลอดชีวิต หรือจำคุกอย่างสูงยี่สิบปีและปรับอย่างสูงสี่หมื่นบาท THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY LIMITED LONDON.
(Translation: Penalty for counterfeiting or altering banknotes is imprisonment for life or imprisonment for a maximum of twenty years and a fine of up to forty thousand baht THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY LIMITED LONDON.)
