| 备注 |
Salta issued its own austral notes in 1987 as a provincial emergency measure, a practice with deep roots in Argentine fiscal history — provinces have periodically resorted to their own quasi-currency during national liquidity crises, effectively forcing local commerce to absorb the risk the federal government couldn't contain. By 1987, the national austral itself was already under inflationary pressure less than two years after its introduction as a replacement for the collapsing peso argentino.
Casa de Moneda printed this in Buenos Aires. Provincial notes of this period were often redeemed quickly and destroyed, making survivors more common in uncirculated hoards than in genuinely worn circulated grades.
