| 正面描述 | Central field occupied by the Islamic profession of faith (Shahada) rendered in multiple lines of Arabic script within a dotted border. The legend reads 'La ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad rasul Allah' (There is no god but God / Muhammad is the messenger of God). The text is boldly struck in raised relief against a flat field, characteristic of Anatolian beylik hammered coinage. The irregular flan edge is typical of hand-cut silver blanks of the period. |

Ya'kub II of Germiyan is among the more unusual figures in Anatolian history — he twice ruled his beylik, lost it to Timur's redistribution of Ottoman-conquered territories after Ankara in 1402, and then willed the entire principality to the Ottomans upon his death in 1429, ending Germiyan's independence without a military conquest. This akçe circulated during that final, borrowed sovereignty.
