Reverse description The reverse displays the mint and ruler invocation in Arabic script arranged within a central rectangular cartouche, flanked by floral and foliate ornamental devices typical of Zand-era provincial coinage. The upper portion of the field shows vegetal sprays with berries or pellets, while the lower register carries the mint name and regnal epithet. The legend 'ya Karim / zarb Ganja' ('O Generous One / struck in Ganja') identifies both the issuing authority — invoking Karim Khan Zand by his honorific — and the mint of Ganja. A beaded or dashed inner border frames the central design, and a marginal legend runs along the outer rim. The flan is broadly struck and irregular, with a suspension hole pierced at the lower edge.
