| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Persian poetic legend in bold nasta'liq script, arranged in three horizontal registers separated by ruled lines across the field. The central inscription proclaims the royal titulature of Shah Tahmasb II, identifying him as Sahib-Qiran (Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction) and invoking divine favor. The mint name Lahijan and the regnal year 1138 AH appear in the lower register. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted circular border, characteristic of late Safavid hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing the Shi'a kalima and the names of the Twelve Imams in bold nasta'liq script, distributed across multiple horizontal registers within the field. The primary legend opens with the shahada — 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah, Ali wali Allah' — followed by the succession of the Twelve Imams: Ali, Hasan, Husayn, Ali, Muhammad, Ja'far, Musa, Ali, Muhammad, Ali, Hasan, and Muhammad, in accordance with Twelver Shi'a tradition. A secondary marginal legend in cursive script encircles the design within a dotted border. The overall composition is consistent with standard Safavid religious reverses affirming the dynasty's Shi'a identity. |
