| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse features three horizontal lines of bold Arabic calligraphy filling the central field, comprising the Shahada and the declaration of Ali as the Friend of God. The legends are rendered in a fluid, cursive Naskh-style script characteristic of Zand-period Iranian coinage. A dotted border encircles the entire design, framing the inscriptions within a plain inner field. The flan is slightly irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck hammered coinage of the period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse displays bold, flowing Arabic calligraphy arranged in multiple registers across the field, incorporating an invocation to Karim Khan alongside the mint name and regnal year. The legend reads 'Ya Karim' (O Generous One, an epithet of Karim Khan Zand), with the mint designation Dar al-Saltana Tabriz and the AH date 1176. Decorative floral or pellet ornaments are interspersed among the legend, a hallmark of Zand-era die engraving. The outer border is formed by a ring of raised pellets, and the flan edge is characteristically irregular due to the hammered production method. |
