Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse field bears a multi-line Persian inscription in elegant Nasta'liq calligraphic script, arranged in four lines and framed by ruled linear borders. The legend includes the mint name Tiflis (Tbilisi) and the regnal or AH date, identifying the issuing authority and place of striking. The script is boldly rendered in high relief against the flat, irregular flan, characteristic of late Safavid hammered coinage. The overall layout is compact, with the text filling the available field to the edges of the irregular planchet.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays the Shia kalima in Arabic script, proclaiming the Twelver Shi'a profession of faith, rendered in bold Nasta'liq calligraphy across the central field within ruled linear borders. Surrounding the central declaration are the names of the Twelve Imams of Twelver Shi'a Islam, arranged in the marginal area and filling the field around the central inscription. The deeply struck lettering is characteristic of Safavid religious numismatic iconography, and the design reflects the doctrinal emphasis on Shi'a identity that defined Safavid coinage throughout this period. The irregular flan edges are typical of the hammered production technique employed at provincial mints such as Tiflis.
