| Reverse description | The reverse field is densely covered with a multi-line Arabic religious inscription in Nasta'liq script, presenting the Shi'a kalima and the names of the Twelve Imams: beginning with the shahada 'La ilaha ill-Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah, Ali Wali Allah,' followed by the names Ali, Hasan, Husayn, Ali, Muhammad, Ja'far, Musa, Ali, Muhammad, Ali, Hasan, and Muhammad. The inscription fills the entire flan in a circular and linear arrangement, enclosed within a raised inner border and the same characteristic outer pellet border as the obverse, consistent with the artistic conventions of Safavid silver coinage from the Isfahan mint. |
