| Opis rewersu | The reverse bears a seven-line commemorative Latin inscription filling the entire field, recording the homage ceremony held at Passau on 18 June 1764. The text is arranged in horizontal lines of varying size, rendered in a bold Baroque lettering style characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century ecclesiastical coinage. An ornamental cartouche or flourish appears above the inscription at the top of the field. The rim is edged with a consistent dentilated border matching the obverse. The composition commemorates the formal rendering of homage to Leopold Ernst von Firmian as Prince-Bishop of Passau. |

Leopold Ernst von Firmian served as Prince-Bishop of Passau from 1723 until his death in 1783 — one of the longest episcopal reigns in the see's history. His tenure coincided with significant pressure from Vienna to bring the sprawling Passau diocese, which historically extended deep into Austria, under tighter Habsburg ecclesiastical control. Joseph II would eventually succeed in dramatically reducing Passau's reach in 1784, just one year after Firmian's death.
The 1/8 Thaler denomination was minted in relatively small volumes for episcopal sees of this period, serving primarily local and regional transaction needs rather than broader trade circuits.
