Reverse description The reverse bears a seven-line commemorative Latin inscription filling the entire field, recording the homage ceremony held at Passau on 18 June 1764. The text is arranged in horizontal lines of varying size, rendered in a bold Baroque lettering style characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century ecclesiastical coinage. An ornamental cartouche or flourish appears above the inscription at the top of the field. The rim is edged with a consistent dentilated border matching the obverse. The composition commemorates the formal rendering of homage to Leopold Ernst von Firmian as Prince-Bishop of Passau.
