Reverse description Circular Persian legend in Arabic script reading: 'Zarb Jahangirnagar sanat 6 julus maimanat manus', denoting the mint city of Jahangirnagar (present-day Dhaka) and the 6th regnal year of Shah Alam II's reign. As is characteristic of this fractional denomination, much of the legend falls beyond the flan edge, leaving only partial text visible on the struck surface. The field is plain with no central motif. The inscription follows the standard Mughal-style mint and regnal-year formula.
