The upper line reads 'Sana' (year), the central line reads 'Julus Maimanat Manus' (the auspicious accession), and the lower line reads 'Zarb Farkhanda Bunyad Hyderabad' (struck at the auspiciously founded [mint of] Hyderabad). Regnal year numerals appear at the base of the design. The legends are rendered in the characteristic bold, flowing calligraphic style typical of Hyderabadi coinage of this period. |
