| Descrizione del rovescio | A bold floriated cross occupies the central field, its arms terminating in elaborate fleur-de-lis finials and adorned with interlaced foliate ornament at the crossing, characteristic of the French royal coinage of the period. A fleur-de-lis appears in the upper left canton of the cross. The surrounding circular Latin legend, interrupted by a cross pattée at the top, reads SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM ('Blessed be the name of the Lord'), with the date 1603 incorporated into the legend.
