| Reverse description | Plain, nearly featureless reverse displaying an irregular, heavily corroded copper surface covered with thick green and grey patination consistent with extended burial or environmental exposure. No discernible device or legend is visible, which is characteristic of the reverse of this crudely struck 1/8 Bazaruco type from the Ceilão mint, where the reverse die was often minimally engraved or left essentially blank. The flan edge is uneven, reflecting the irregular nature of the hammered production technique standard for this minor colonial denomination. |
