Reverse description The central field bears the denomination inscribed within a decorative wreath composed of Rose of Sharon (mugunghwa) branches to the left and plum blossom branches to the right, tied at the base. A five-petalled plum blossom, serving as the Imperial Seal of Korea, is positioned prominently above the wreath at the top of the field. The denomination in Chinese characters is rendered within the wreath surround. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded inner circle and a milled outer rim consistent with the obverse.
