正面描述	Draped bust of Mary of Nemours, Sovereign Princess of Neuchâtel, facing right, her hair elaborately dressed in tight curls. The effigy is rendered in a late 17th-century Baroque style with fine drapery visible at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, reading MARIA · D · G · PR · SVP · NOVICASTRI · 1694, with a floral ornament separating the date from the commencement of the legend. The coin's edge features a reeded border.
