The outer legend, separated by ornamental stops, continues the titulature of the elector: LANDG THVRINGIE MARCH MISNIE ET DVX BVRGGRAVI MAGDEBVRGENSIS, completing the double-sided inscription that was standard practice for Saxon quarter thalers of this period. |
