Reverse description A bold cross pattée with trefoil or trilobed terminals at each arm, set within a quadrilobe frame formed by four curved lobes meeting at the center. A small pellet is placed between each arm of the cross within the quadrilobe. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner border, producing a striking geometric and heraldic composition characteristic of Savoyard billon coinage of the period.
