Reverse description Central field displays a bold Christogram-style monogram, composed of a large letter A overlaid with an X and additional strokes, forming the characteristic backwards monogram associated with Theoderic, rendered in a distinctive and somewhat irregular hand. A horizontal S is placed prominently within or adjacent to the monogram. The surrounding degenerate Latin legend, derived from INVICTA ROMA, is distributed around the field. Small decorative elements, including a cross and a star, appear in the field. The style throughout is consistent with Gepid barbarous imitative production at Sirmium.
