| Beschrijving keerzijde | A single etrog (citron) fruit depicted centrally in the field, rendered in a stylized yet recognizable form with its characteristic pointed apex and textured surface. A Hebrew inscription surrounds the motif, reading 'לגאלת ציון' ('For the Redemption of Zion'), distributed around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. The reverse design reflects the deeply religious and nationalistic symbolism of the Great Jewish Revolt coinage. |

Year 4 of the Jewish revolt against Rome — the final year, as it turned out. By the time these coins were struck in 70 CE, Titus had already breached Jerusalem's outer walls. The fractional bronze denominations of this year are notably scarcer than the prutot, almost certainly because production was collapsing alongside the city itself. Meshorer identified relatively few die pairings for this type, consistent with a mint operating under siege conditions rather than at any normal capacity.
