Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a bold mint and attribution legend in Nasta'liq calligraphy, filling the entire field of the irregularly shaped flan. The inscription reads 'Zarb Dar al-Mu'minin Kashan', indicating the coin was struck at the 'Abode of the Faithful', the honorific title of the Kashan mint. The large, sweeping letterforms are characteristic of Qajar-era hammered coinage, with no additional decorative elements, border, or exergue. The flan edge is uneven, consistent with hand-cut planchet preparation typical of this series.
