The crown is depicted with a central finial above the head, and the shoulders are broadly indicated on either side. | 裏面の説明 | As a bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the faint recessed impression of the crowned bust. The anonymous issue is attributed to the reign of Magnus Lagabøte (Magnus VI, r. 1263–1280), struck without inscriptions or identifying legend, consistent with the anonymous bracteate coinage of thirteenth-century Norway catalogued by Skaare. |
