| Reverse description | Incuse mirror image of the obverse, as is typical of bracteate construction, in which the design is struck from a single die onto thin silver sheet. This bracteate was issued during the reign of King Sverre Sigurdsson (r. 1177-1202), and the letter B is generally interpreted by numismatists as a mint mark denoting Bergen as the place of production. |
