| Описание реверса | A pronking springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis), the national animal of South Africa, is depicted in bold relief at centre, leaping to the right across a rocky ground plane with native vegetation rendered in the exergual area. The date is divided on either side of the springbok, with '20' to the left and '02' to the right in the illustrated example. The curved legend '1/4 KRUGERRAND' arcs along the upper field, while the bilingual gold content inscription 'FYNGOUD 1/4OZ FINE GOLD' appears along the lower periphery, flanked by the engraver's initials 'CLS'. A continuous beaded border frames the entire reverse design. |
