Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious legend in bold naskh script, arranged in three horizontal registers separated by finely incised dividing lines. The upper register bears the shahada (declaration of faith), the middle register continues with the name of the Prophet Muhammad as Messenger of God, and the lower register carries the Shia profession acknowledging Ali as the Friend of God. Decorative foliate pellet ornaments fill the interstices between the registers, lending the composition a lively, densely calligraphic character typical of late Zand-period hammered gold coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly scalloped at the periphery, consistent with hand-struck manufacture.
Schrift voorzijde Arabic (naskh)

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a prominent pointed-oval (lobed cartouche) set centrally within the field, containing the religious invocation 'Ya Karim' (O Generous One, an epithet of God) rendered in bold, flowing nastaliq script with decorative pellet ornaments framing the inscription. Above the cartouche, the mint name and regnal formula appear in smaller nastaliq characters, while the AH date 1204 is struck beneath or around the cartouche border. The surrounding field is plain and shows the characteristically striated surface of a hammered flan. The overall layout follows the standard Zand Dynasty reverse type for gold ashrafi coinage.
