| 背面描述 | Within a beaded inner circle, a standing female figure — representing Minerva, the personification of the province — is depicted in classical drapery, facing three-quarters to the right. She rests her left arm upon an ornately decorated column or pedestal on which a Bible rests, and raises her right hand aloft holding a staff surmounted by a liberty cap. The figure is rendered in high relief consistent with the piedfort format. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design within the beaded border. |
